Summer 2024 Program Update

Our Summer Programs are ongoing. 

Youth beginner group lessons are ongoing at Centennial Schools, Blaine, New Brighton, Edina, and Bloomington. You can learn more by visiting the Beginner Program page on our website. 

The Junior Development and High Performance Group Lessons are ongoing in New Brighton on Monday and Thursday evenings. You can learn more by visiting the respective program pages on our website.

March 2024 Update on Programs and Services

With the outdoor tennis season beginning soon, below are our ongoing and upcoming programs and services for player development.  
 
Our Youth Beginner Programs are listed on our website along with links to the registration pages. 
 
Our Junior Development Program’s Spring Session for intermediate level players is ongoing at the Baseline Tennis Center on Wednesday evenings. 
 
Our Team Tennis Match Play Program for match play ready players is ongoing at Baseline. 
 
At the High Performance level, we are offering private group lessons on Thursday nights and Saturday evenings at Baseline.   
 
In private lessons, our experience will identify the specific areas for improvement and provide the drills and training to accelerate the player’s development. 
 
For players competing in tournaments, our tournament coaching service will create key insights from matches and a plan for development.
 
Players aiming for the state, national, or international level who are ready to commit to a consistent weekly training schedule over a longer-term, can reach out for a high performance training plan and program

Centennial Middle School Program update

We enjoyed working with the Centennial Middle School Tennis Group! The winter session concluded this week. Thank you and congrats to Coach Jon Senum for completing his first group session as a Lead Coach working closely with Tenicity Leader, Harsh Mankad! Several participants expressed their interest in continued lessons to develop their game further! The Spring Session for the Middle School Program begins outdoors on April 22. September 2023 Updates

We invite you to read about the exciting developments that our making our program unique! These include our coaching curriculum and methods evolving with positive youth development principles, our focus on helping players develop strong fundamentals in the foundation years, and program players achieving new heights in their tennis. Tenicity Founder and Leader, Harsh Mankad receives USTA Award!

Harsh Mankad was presented with the USTA Northern 2023 Junior Development Award at a wonderful gala in Minneapolis in April. The USTA recognized Harsh’s leadership and contributions to the growth of the game in the northern region with over 550 junior players participating in Tenicity’s programs in the Twin Cities in 2022. 

March-April 2023: Fun New Brighton session!

We concluded a fun indoor session at Highview Middle School in New Brighton. 25 players participated and progressed in their skills along our development path under the guidance of Head Coach, Harsh Mankad and Asst. Coach, Joe Manson. Thanks to New Brighton Parks and Rec. for the support and to USTA Northern for the bags which each participant received.

March-April 2023: Intermediate Group progressing well!

Our intermediate group is progressing well in their training at the Baseline Tennis Center. Each participant received court towels provided by USTA Northern.

December 2022: Coach Joe Manson is awarded with the Tenicity Program Commitment Award for 2022

Tenicity Head Coach Harsh Mankad presented Coach Joe Manson with the Tenicity Program Commitment Award for 2022 for his dedication to the program’s values, teaching methods, and player learning experiences. Well done Coach Joe!

Recap of our Outdoor Programs in 2022!

We’ve had a wonderful outdoor season of tennis with programs through the Spring, Summer, and Fall at Centennial Schools in Lino Lakes, the City of New Brighton, the City of Blaine, and in our advanced training programs! Over 550 children ages 4-17 developed their tennis games under the guidance of Head Coach Harsh Mankad and our team of coaches. It’s great to see participation growing across all our programs and players developing to higher levels in all age groups. Thanks to all our participants, coaches, and partners for being part of the fantastic outdoor tennis season!
