India's #1 and Top 300 WTA Player, Sahaja Yamalapalli teams up with Harsh Mankad

After a training stint with Harsh in Minnesota, Sahaja has teamed up to have Harsh as her Head Coach. Sahaja is gaining from our Professional Player Coaching Program services to elevate her performance on the ITF and WTA Tours. Check out Sahaja’s webpage for her tour schedule and weekly tennis updates. 

Sahaja Yamalapalli trained in Minnesota with Harsh Mankad the week of September 30 to prepare for her upcoming WTA events in North America. Following the training week, Sahaja played the W35 event in Bakersfield, CA and reached the quarter-finals. She is benefitting from Harsh Mankad’s coaching and guidance for her game development and WTA Tour planning and performance.

Harsh Mankad Gets Inducted To Gopher Hall Of Fame!

Tenicity Leader, Harsh Mankad got inducted into the University of Minnesota Athletics, M Club Hall Of Fame as part of the Class of 2024! Harsh’s outstanding achievements as a Gopher Tennis Player with winning the NCAA National Indoor Singles Title and achieving the no. 1 singles ranking in the country led to the Hall Of Fame induction. We are proud to have a Hall Of Famer lead the development of our programs and players.

Garen Manson Places 3rd in USTA u12 Tournament

Tenicity player Garen Manson finished in 3rd place at the USTA under-12 tournament in Eden Prairie during the weekend of September 21. Garen started tennis at the age of 5 in Tenicity’s Beginner Program via Centennial Schools Community Education. He is currently training in our Junior Development Program under the guidance of Harsh Mankad and our team. It’s great to see Garen developing as one of northern’s top under 12 junior players. Well done Garen!

Tenicity Founder and Leader, Harsh Mankad receives USTA Award!

Harsh Mankad was presented with the USTA Northern 2023 Junior Development Award at a wonderful gala in Minneapolis in April. The USTA recognized Harsh’s leadership and contributions to the growth of the game in the northern region with over 550 junior players participating in Tenicity’s programs in the Twin Cities in 2022. 

December 2022: Coach Joe Manson is awarded with the Tenicity Program Commitment Award for 2022

Tenicity Head Coach Harsh Mankad presented Coach Joe Manson with the Tenicity Program Commitment Award for 2022 for his dedication to the program’s values, teaching methods, and player learning experiences. Well done Coach Joe!

Recap of our Outdoor Programs in 2022!

We’ve had a wonderful outdoor season of tennis with programs through the Spring, Summer, and Fall at Centennial Schools in Lino Lakes, the City of New Brighton, the City of Blaine, and in our advanced training programs! Over 550 children ages 4-17 developed their tennis games under the guidance of Head Coach Harsh Mankad and our team of coaches. It’s great to see participation growing across all our programs and players developing to higher levels in all age groups. Thanks to all our participants, coaches, and partners for being part of the fantastic outdoor tennis season!
